Global concern about the aging population is currently focused on "baby boomers," whose retirement removes significant experience from government and industry. This paper considers how project managers in the baby boomer generation can transfer knowledge to future generations by building internet resources and serious computer games that suit the learning styles of today's young professionals, as well as using classic techniques of mentoring and university training. These steps address the primary business issue posed by baby boomer retirement, as well as establishing the foundation for solving a systemic problem in the project management profession, that of effectively passing on accumulated knowledge.

A work stressor of the IT project is high, thus the mental health problem has become a serious risk. We achieve this tasks maintaining psychological health of the members which they feel stress but easily feel refreshed when they take a rest. To do that, the basic and simple concept and the preventive measure of disease of the mind to deal with the mental health problem on site is necessary. At this time, we have relatively little awareness of the mental health of ourselves to the physical health. In addition, we haven't trained and acquired about the knowledge and the skills to deal with this problem. In this article, I would discuss from the viewpoint of the comparison of the condition of the physical health with the mental health, the comparison of the mechanism of maintaining the physical health with the mental health, and the "Brain" science which generates the human heart and feels stress.

In recent development of the Japanese human resource management, the new practices such as performance-based evaluation and flexible work hour systems are gradually gaining ground, while such traditional management styles as life time employment and the seniority based evaluation are being phased out Taking these into consideration, I would like to put some of my thoughts, from the historical perspectives and based on my own management experiences at NEC, on the effects that the pyramid type and/or flat type organizations have toward the human resource management as well as on the shifts in employees' organizational behavior which are brought about by the motivation measures through the personnel evaluation and the mentor systems.

In system development projects, issues from the viewpoint of QCD might occur. This is considered due to the insufficient estimate activities at proposal, vague assumptions, and vague succession of estimate grounds from person in charge of proposal, etc. To act on these causes and prevent risk occurrence, I made estimate sheets and promoted use of them at proposal as part of risk management By doing so, I tried to execute certain integrated change control. I re-realized therefore the importance of preventing lack of examination at proposal and clarification of assumptions, that the process to specification fixation is just an important phase that decides project size, leads a system development project to success, it is also a key to strict observance of QCD. I report from a series of this time attempts, on the issues that occurred when risk responses have been executed, the solutions to them, actions taken when the risk has occurred, their effects and so on.
