"You can't control what you can't measure." In the famous words of this Tom DeMarco. Not only the application, in order to measure the quality of the overall software visualization techniques all ages, various have been developed. You can improve the accuracy of itself "quality records" such as vote processing and fault votes review records to be evidence of analysis and evaluation of the quality, but also activities that can measure the quality of the applications that are deliverable, is one way. This activity, in the SI system of main frame project of the 1980s was a natural activity. However, tend to be neglected now. Therefore, in order to improve the quality of applications, we tried to return home. We began in October 2010 as a system quality improvement partner activities for all project members, including the outsourcer will be able to create quality records correct and can be utilized as evidence at the time of analysis and evaluation of quality. An overview of the system quality improvement partners to enable completion determination and process analysis and evaluation of high precision quality by performing the improvement level description of the quality records, improve the quality of the application, in this paper, we discussed about the effect its application.

In our system development, quality control is performed in the process of design (quality improvement process) and test (quality verification process), respectively, using quantitative analysis methods. The indices used for such quantitative analysis are customized and determined based on the initial development scale at the time of project planning, actual results of the previous projects, and projects' characteristics. The development scale used as a parameter is given by the design scale (Ks) and production scale (Ks) in application development; however, some developments, including system platform development, in which the design scale and production scale cannot be evaluated in Ks, are not properly measured and evaluated. Especially, when we outsource system platform development to vendors, i.e., our business partners, as there is no clearly defined acceptance standard, quality assurance levels vary depending on the outsourced vendors, often resulting in causing system failures after the start of the service. In this paper, we introduce our efforts in developing quantitative analysis assurance methods in system platform development and case studies in applying such methods to the actual projects.

In order to improve the quality of software, we review specifications refined from the specifications of the previous process. Nevertheless, errors and defects of specifications are sometimes detected during testing processes. According to our research, we've found that the internal design specifications have more defects than other specifications. Most of those defects were embedded during the refining process from the external design to the internal design. In this paper, we proposed design specification templates for application software and the method of checking the consistencies of design specifications. Furthermore, we evaluate the effectiveness of the templates and the method.
