On the system development project, secure of quality is one of the matters of weight related to the success or failure of the project. It is said that the prevention of not causing defect in addition to detecting and planning for defect is effective to enhance the quality. But we think it is in the situation in which a preventive measure cannot be held enough on the site of actual system development. It is thought that it leads to steady project management and the improvement of the development production by improving this. In this report, we report our preventive measure by "Self checklist" that we did on the project, and after the defect that remains since the development process is analyzed, we consider the measure of the defect prevention on which the project administrator should work in the future.

Advancements in Information Technology and the diversity of user needs make commercial application more complex ever then before. Large enterprises face the challenge of non-functional quality issues, such as performance and availability. For those project assumed to have mission critical goals, vast amount of resource are invested on testing, while the others are rarely tested even if they are need. They are incapable of justifying how much testing should be made after all. On the other hand, for many application development projects, testing is mainly carried out in the downstream process because there are more testing tools downstream to help them to carry out the test, and application developers are more familiar with them. In this paper, we are going to introduce FLT (Full Lifecycle Testing), which is one of the capability pattern described in the IBM UMF (Unified Method Framework). We also discuss on how to carry out static testing, and how to optimize the testing process throughout the project lifecycle by adding this capability pattern to the project.

Target quality of information technology development project is very important matters in order to take the effective result and success of project at the early stage of project management. BSC (Balance Score Card) is used as a very effective approach for establish target of project during the requirement analysis of project planning. But, Structure and coverage of target is not sure based on the view point of BSC. This issue may cause the rack of important target of project. On the other hand, some time, target of project may be replaced by the realization method and effectiveness of project may be reduced. Above assumption, in this paper, I would like to introduce the concept and effectiveness of Three Dimensional Value Models which expand based on the system quality model defined in ISO/IEC 9126.

To clarify the characteristics of cost-overrun software projects, this paper calculated Sales Cost Ratio from accounting information of a company in the embedded systems domain, and analyzed the correlation with outsourcing ratio as well as reuse ratio and effort ratio of each development phase. As a result, we found that the lower Sales Cost Ratio projects had the higher effort ratio of architecture design phase. We also found that high outsourcing ratio projects had higher Sales Cost Ratio, and that projects having moderate reuse ratio (greater than 0% and below 99%) had lower and disperse Sales Cost Ratio, which suggests troubles in code reuse will degrade the project profit.
