Several papers reviewing the ATES (aquifer thermal energy storage) have already been represented. This paper is attempting to clasify the research uptoday so that whole boundary of this research area could be identified. Categories regarded here are;
A: Injection B: Hydrogeological Survey of Field
C: Field Experiment D: Analytical Modeling
E: Heat Recovery Coefficient F: Numerical Solution
I: Thermal Dispersion J: Natural Convection
Though the number of references are limited and some of research activities are still going forward during this reviewing, this issue is expected to be valuable as a guidline to further research development.
