In order to identify several sources which exhaust some specific components, particulate samples were collected in Omuta City (Fukuoka Prefecture) using hi-volume air sampler and were analyzed for metal components.
Direction of sources were found by the method for evaluating the “Influential degree from each direction” which was calculated from metal concentration and wind direction data, and also estimated by the correlation matrix of metal component bitween sampling points.
Metal components were classified by factor analysis, and sources were identified by these metal groups. The difference of influence among sources which exhausted same components was defined by Hammerle's “single source method”.
