The yellow sand influence on leaching ions from bronze plates and aluminum diacaustic alloy plates is examined in this study. The effect of atomizing of standard yellow sand on the behavior of various ion components was investigated in an artificial corrosion exposure chamber under three conditions: (1) pure water fog + air without aerosol ; (2) pure water fog + air containing aerosol ; (3) artificial acid fog + air containing aerosol. It was observed that the amount of corrosion on both plates was reduced by the atomizing of yellow sand, indicating the ability of the yellow sand to inhibit corrosion under certain conditions.
