The behaviors of N
2O and NO
x in the photo-reaction in N
2O-NO
x-N
2 and N
2O-NO
x-air mixtures were studied. N
2O was not changed by the presence of NO, NO
2 and O
3 and not affected by the UV irradiation with high pressure mercuy lamp. N
2O decomposed to N
2 and O
2 under the UV irradiation with low pressure mercury lamp and the decomposition rate was proportional to the concet-ration of N
2O. The reaction was not affected by NO, NO
2 and O
3. NO in N
2O-NO-N
2 mixture did not change under the UV irradiation with high pressure mercury lamp, while decomposed to N
2 and O
2 under the irradiation with low pressure mercury lamp and the decomposition was accelerated a little by O
2 formed by the decomposition in N
2O. NO in air was oxidized to NO
2 under the dark reaction, while did not change under the irradiation with high pressure mercury lamp because of the formation of NO by the photo-decomposition of NO
2. NO was photo-oxidized by the UV irradiation with low pressure mercury lamp. All of these reactions of N
2O-NO-air mixtue were not at-fected by N
2O. NO
2 in N
2 did not change in the dark reaction and decomposed to NO and O
2 with high pressure mercury lamp irradiation. NO
2 decomposed to NO and reduced partially to N
2 by the low pressure mercury lamp irradiation. The rates of these reactions were same with those in the presence of N
2O. NO
2 in air decomposed to NO and O
2 by the high pressure mercury lamp irradiation and was oxidized to higher oxides by the low pressure mercury lamp irradiation. These reaction rates were not change the presence of N
2O,
