In this Paper, we try to set up a hypothesis test about benefit transfer of rural amenity benefit in regional water resource program without depending on external criteria and parametric assumptions. And we also try to propose an objective procedure that can explain how benefit transfer comes into existence by developing the algorithm that can set up a nonparametric-hypothesis test effectively.
Concretely, in 19 survey areas, we test the sameness about double-bounded CV responses by using Schemper's nonparametric k-sample test statistics. And we also test the sameness about responses by depending on two external criteria (where we use improvement contents and agricultural classification as external criteria) to compare the outcome.
The findings could be summarized as follows: 1) benefit transfer is founded among many areas and 19 survey areas are classified into 4 clusters; 2) in setting up a hypothesis test about benefit transfer, using only two external criteria is not sufficient; 3) therefore, the objective procedure we propose would play a great role in testing benefit transfer.

In this paper, I classify the green-tourism activities in Japan via model-based cluster analysis. The purpose of this classification is the following point.
The types of green tourism in Japan are various because green tourism makes use of culture, tradition and natural resources in each town. And it hasn't taken long time until green tourism started, therefore the definition of green-tourism seems to be ambiguous. Hence I classify green-tourism activities in Japan in order to summarize and recognize them.
Moreover, I apply to Model-based cluster analysis, by which it is possible to systematically decide the number of clusters and the method of clustering by statistical approach although commonly used cluster analysis applied in practice depends on arbitrary of a researcher.
Consequently, seven clusters are obtained. At the end of this paper, I characterize these clusters depended on a variety of green-tourism activity aspects.

“Ownership Program”of Rice Terraces is noted as one of the rural-urban interchange activities to revitalize the rural societies. In that program, participants from urbanized area pay some fee, borrow the right for the field, and experience some farming activities such as transplanting and harvesting in those fields with the help of local farmers. In that respect, labor support from local farmers is essential to continue the program. In order to consider the possibility for their labor support to continue, the authors made a case study in“Ownership Program”of Rice Terraces at Ohyama Senmaida in Kamogawa City, Chiba Prefecture. They conducted an interview survey to the local farmers, who are sampled from the members of the Association working for conservation of rice terraces in Ohyama District. Based on the result, the present issues were discussed and some measures were presented.
The followings are the result and conditions to be fulfilled: 1) The Association or new habitants take over the works of landowners who would be too old to provide the labor support for the program. 2) The local farmers, members of the Association, have further understanding for the program including their respective roles, which would construct better relationship among the members and promote their participation. In addition, extension of the field under the program would make the effect more visible and make those farmers motivated as well. 3) The local farmers are to have more opportunities to communicate with the participants from urbanized area, which would be effective for vitalization of those farmers and work on them for further participation. Key Words: 1) the owner ship program of rice terraces, 2) labor support, 3) local farmers, 4) participation to the program
