In this study, the impact characteristics of laser welded steel sheets are investigated and the change in toughness discussed. Instrumented Charpy impact test was carried out. In the range from -100℃ to 200℃, the welded steel sheets show good toughness. With decreasing the testing temperature, the maximum in load increase and the maximum deflection decrease. The fracture of welded steel sheets is mainly occurred at not weld metal as hard phase but base metal as soft phase. Therefore, the impact properties of weld steel sheets are similar to those of base steel sheets.

In recent years, the river is made in consideration of environment or the scenery. This research inserts deflector in a curved river, changes the direction of the streamline through a curve and thereby, and makes the influence of the flow by curve ease. Length is made in to 40% of river width when inserting deflector in a curved river. If an insertion position is inserted in 63% lower stream of a curve, it is effective in direction change of a streamline. Moreover, if deflector is inserted by plurality rather than the singular, a big effect will be acquired to a direction change of a streamline. However, it becomes the cause of making the streamline of a down-stream region producing disorder, and has left some problems. This research experiments by changing the curvature of a curve, and reports the result examined about the validity of the deflector by change of curvature.

A Graph is a figure consisted of some points, called vertices, and some line segments, called edges, which join two vertices. An embedding f : G → R2 of into the Euclidean plane R2 is called a planar embedding of G. Then G is said to be a planar graph, and the image f(G) is said to be a plane graph of G. An planar embedding of G is called a straight line planar embedding if the image of each edge of G is a straight line segment of R2. Szele posed the question what are the necessary and sufficient conditions that a given graph could be have a straight line planar embedding. He conjectured that every planar graph has a straight line planar embedding. In 1936 Wagner proved that this conjecture is true. In 1948 Fary also solved this conjecture, and furthermore proved that for every planar embedding f : G → R2 of every planar graph G, there exists a straight line planar embedding f : G → R2 such that f is ambient isotopic to f.This theorem is called Fary's theorem. In this paper we explain Fary's proof of Fary's theorem in detail.

Grammar itself is not existed as a learning item in the teaching lists in the Course of Study of both junior and senior high school published by the education ministry in Japan. However, no teacher denies the necessity of acquisition of grammatical items such as infinitive, participle, gerund, relative pronouns, and so forth. Among others, the item of "contact clause" has special position to learners of English as a foreign language in Japanese schools. In this paper, the investigation of what level the college students have acquired the contact clauses through several tests, and on the basement of the result, the analysis of the reasons why the students have felt difficult to master the item. The informants are all the college students at Kisarazu National College of Technology. (KNCT in short) This paper is the first of the three series of the study on the basement of experimental results concerning the clauses. Foregrounding in verse or poetry is to surprise the reader with de-automatization of what is normally taken for granted by throwing into relief the linguistic sign against the background of the norms of ordinary language 1). In prose or literary works, this distinct stylistic technique can be achieved by highlighting or making prominent some linguistic features for some specific effects against the background of the rest of the text. How can this stylistic technique of foregrounding be achieved in Ernest Hemingway's A Farewell to Arms, in which hard-boiled style may well be thought of as the internal norm? I suppose in this paper that complex sentence, elliptical sentence and narration are foregrounded as the deviations from the norm they are placed in. I will investigate them in the three scenes of the novel.

The purpose of this study was so clarify the current status of allergosis in the students of Kisarazu National College of Technology. Allergic rhinitis showed the highest prevalence with 25.9% of all disease. The prevalence ofbronchial asthma was 6.6%, and that of atopic dermatitis was 5.7%. Among those with the asthma symptoms, the exercise was listed by 39.7% of the studens. Analysis by the gender revealed that, the girls (15.6%) showed a twice higher prevalence of allergic conjunctivitis than that of the boys (6.9%). By the grades, the prevalence of atopic dermatitis tended to be higher among the older students.

Die Passagen sind Arkadengange der Glasarchitektur, die in Paris geboren wurden. Das Hauptaufkommen der Passagen liegt in der ersten Halfte des 19. Jahrhunderts. Der Begriff der Flanierenden wird in den Passagen gepragt. Die Passagen entwickeln sich zu Zentren des Handels in Luxuswaren. Mann kann sagen, dess die Passagen in Paris eine Vorrichtung in 19. Jahrhundert ist. Das Aufkommen und der Hohepunkt der Panoramen in der ersten Halfte des 19. Jahrhunderts ist zeitlich mit der Entwicklung der Passagen zu sehen. Der Kulturkritiker Walter Benjamin hat in seinem Frabment Passagen-Werk, des als groβe Kulturgeschichte des 19. Jahrhunderts angelegt war, die Weltausstellungen und die Flanierenden zum zentralen Thema gemacht. Das ist ein Bericht, der beschreibt, wie die Berichtende im Juli and August 2002 Paris besuchte und die Passagen ansah.

In many cases, we use the PC (Personal Computer) to control mechatronics system. RT_Linux, ART_Linux, μITRON, ...etc., Real time OS (Operating System) is used for control in a general way. However, typicai OS is Windows98 or Linux. We tried to control DC motor by using common OS and found that has enough ability. In this paper, we introduce the program to control PC hardware, and provide some experimental results that indicate performance of common OS.
