A method for calculating the motion of the double pendulum using a hybrid computer is described in this paper. Macro assembly language is used in this computation. As it is hard to understand the motion of the double pendulum when the results of computation are shown only in figures, those motions are displayed in X-Y oscilloscope. The results of computation using the hybrid computer are investigated and compared with the results of the analytic solution.

Simulation and analysis of a dynamic system using a hybrid computer is described in this paper. We consider a cart mounted two inverter pendulums as an example of this model. Both of pendulums are set up an only control force which moves the cart back and forth. We investigated about setting up a large number of pendulums which have each different eigenvalue in the analytical study. From the preceding result, we could confirm the condition of setting up pendulums by the non-linear control switching on normal coodinates and examine situations of pendulum's motion in detail.

Generally we use 3 Phase Wattmeter for 3 Phase Power measuring. But this method is not good for a control system. We made a device for this porpose using IC multnplieres. This device obtained good characteres for time delay and small power consumption.

The ratio of the height of reflected waves to that of incident waves appears to be necessary to explain the phenomenon of wave reflection. The reflection coefficient of water waves is an important fact for every problem of wave and structure interaction. The study of reflection of slit-type structures is being continued steadily, but the structures involve many problems to be solved. Therefore, we tried the experiment on reflection and transmission of waves with slit-type structures of vertical square pile. In order to measure reflection coefficients, we used Healy's method which is based on the theory of small amplitude waves. From the experimental data, the several conclussions of reflection and transmission coefficients can be described in this paper.

Of the teaching of the English vocabulary, the standard method has not been established. This paper treats of the Structuring of the Senses of a Word, i.e., giving structure to the senses of a word, which seems to be a part of the standard method. A sense of a word is developed or applied into a specialized, generalized, or transferred one through similarity or contiguity between the two. On these premises, some words are given a semantic structure below and the significance of presenting the structured senses to students is discussed.

Purpose of the study was to determine starting times (ST's) toward four different directions of five varieties of foot position, and considerations were made with respect to their directional property and speed property. The subjects for this study were four high school athletic club members. Shown in Fig. (I). The times from the presentation of the stimulus lamp to the response of the subjects lift up the starting board and make contact the landing board were measured in milliseconds by an ordinary electric chronometer device. As Table 2 and Fig. 1 shows, the both legs ST's (Foot position I) were the longest of all ST's, (F.P.II) (III) (IV) (V), while the left, right-leg driving step ST's (F.P.II) were relatively short. The both legs jumping ST to the back ward direction were better than those to other directions. While one leg steping ST's to the left ward and the right ward direction were better than those to other directions. Comparing the left-leg with the right-leg drive, one subject showed the letter was shorter than the former, three subjects in the former were shorter.
