Using a laser microspectral analyzer halogen compounds and sulfur were analyzed in the air and in the same way as for analysis of ordinary elements.Through the analysis spectral lines of F, Cl, Br, I, and S were found. The intensity of each line increased when an additional auxiliary spark excitation system was used under such a condition that the discharge produced spherical spark plasma.Widths of spectral lines of F, Cl, Br, I, and Swere found to be broad as compared with those of other elements.
