Metal phthalocyanines have functions as catalysts for hydrogenation and hydrocracking in hydrogen atmosphere. In this study, metal phthalocyanines were treated with hydrogen in the same way as hydrogenation or hydrocracking. From the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy measurement, it was found that the metal phthalocyanies were undergone various types of hydrogen treatment depending on the central metal. It was considered that some change mainly occurred on tetrabenzoporphyrazine for the metal phthalocyanines with elements of iron groups, while a central metal was affected for the metal phthalocyanines with other elements. Four different-shaped discs were used for the study on behavior of grinding media in a sand mill. Two discs of each were set out in a two-dimensional mill. Glass beads and cornsyrup solution were placed in the mill as grinding media and vehicle, respectively. Flow pattern, velocity distribution and selfrotational speed of the glass beads between two discs were examined by use of a videocamera. Temperature distributions of the cornsyrup solution in the mill with various types of discs were measured. Surfaces of colored beads added as a tracer were observed by use of a microscope before and after the experiments. Collisions and contacts among beads were expected from coloring, decoloring and flaws on the surface of beads. The grinding or dispersion area, and the mixing zone in the mill with each disc were estimated based upon the moving behavior of the grinding media, the temperature distributions and the surface state of the beads.

White anodic oxide film was obtained by an anodic oxidation of titanium with higher voltage than the spark-ignition voltage in an electrolytic bath in which aluminum sulfate was added to the mixture solution of phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide.
The following is the investigated formation mechanism of electrolytic white coloring film.
When titanium is oxidized by anode in the electrolytic bath, an insulating film is formed. Then, the film is broken partially by the spark discharge to be pierced. At that time, the film is heated locally, so that aluminum is hydrolyzed at the interface between titanium and the electrolyte. In parallel with the reaction above, the film adheres to the thermal hydrolyzate. As a result, a composite anodic oxide film of titanium including aluminum oxide (hydrate) is produced.

The curing behavior of melamine-cured paints, which were coated on ethyleneglycol-and diethyltoluenediamine-polyurethane substrates (EG-PUR, and DETDA-PUR), was discussed.
From the results of the measurement of viscoelasticity, it was recognized that the crosslinking density of the coating film on the DETDA-PUR substrate was lower than that on the EG-PUR substrate. Also, DETDA was detected analyses with gas chromatography, mass spectrometry, etc.
It was thought the lowering of the cross-linking density of coating film occurred with the migration of DETDA-PUR substrate to the coating film.
