The ulcerative colitis is characterized in a chronic inflammatory and ulcerative change involving the total layer of the colon and rectum. Its typical type is easily diagnosed by x-ray and endoscopy, but it is still difficult to differentiate its atypical type such as segmental or right sided type from granulomatous colitis or tuberuclosis.
The patient, a 20-year-old female, showed a typical ulcerative colitis with expanded from total colon to terminal ileum. On the follow up observation it showed a right sided type of this disease. From this study, we may say that ulcertive colitis will reveal a right sided feature in its process.
Further, we have already reported that we can easily recognize irregularly shaped minute appearances on the colonic mucosa in the quiescent stage of this disease using dye spraying method. Dye spraying method is also applied in this case, and these minute changes on the colonic mucosa can be easily recognized in the quiescent region.

The in vitro response to mitogen. and antigen of purified blood lymphocytes from patients with ulcerative colitis, intestinal tuberculosis, Crohn's disease and control subjects has been determined.
In 15 patients with ulcerative colitis, poor lymphocyte response to phytohemoagglutinin was observed compare with lymphocyte response in 15 healthy control. In addition, in many cases with ulcerative colitis population of circulating T-cell showed low in number.
In active stage of ulcerative colitis various lymphocyte response was observed. On the other hand, in remission decreased lymphocyte reactivity was revealed. The lymphocyte transformation test and MIF activity to crude colon antigen and enterobacterial common antigen (Kunin) showed positive response in majority of patients with ulcerative colitis.
In 4 patients with Crohn's disease poor lymphocyte response to PHA was observed compare with lymphocyte response in patients with ulcerative colitis. In 3 cases with intestinal tuberculosis was revealed stronger reactivity to mitogen.

We experienced the nodular lymphoid hyperplasis of the intestine including of the several cases with complaining of diarrhea, and abdominal pain. We obserbed whether an nodular lymphoid hyperplasia has a conection with the edematous enterocolitis or not. At the surgical clinic, the edemotous lision of the intestine has a fundamental disfunction, es-peasialy, in the ileitis, postoperative adhesive enteropathy, allergic enteropathy, nodular lymphoid hyperplasia of the ileum, and peritonitis. It is our concerning point that the edemotous lision occures after hyperplasia of the lymphoid tissue in the submucosa of the intestine. We treated to treat with a gammaglobulin were be applid to be in good condition.
