The relation between pore texture and thermal conductivity of MgO-C bricks was studied by consideration of
pore dispersing condition in the brick texture. The pore diameter distribution was measured using the mercury
porosimeter and was compared to the thermal conductivity. As a results, it was confirmed the thermal conductivity had clear correlation with the volume of small size pore. This correlation was explained through the texture
model considering pore to be as disperse or continuous phase.
