A determination method of production goals of cyclamen and begonia was developed with regard to their simultaneous production, in order to use the limited area in greenhouse more efficiently. For this purpose, production quantities of cyclamen and begonia were evaluated from the economical viewpoint, by fixing the sizes of pots for cyclamen production into two categories. 1) 15-cm pots, and 2) combined use of 15-cm and 18-cm pots, Seeding number of the first temporary planting in the production-shipment process of cyclamen was deternimed so as to yield necessary amount of the plant (ρ represents the coefficient of yield). Damage loss of the plant by disease and pest (γ represents of the ratio of loss)and the producer price of 18-m pots(α_6)were also considered. As a result, ρ-γ and γ-α_6 planes were derived which were effective in the determination of production goals of the two production items. Practical tools were also illustrated.
