ジャーナル フリーRegarding the conversion from AC-RMS-voltage to DC-voltage, its necessity and the various methods hitherto published in the literature are briefly introduced before describing in detail the converter, developed by authors.
This converter consists of the following parts: (a) an auxiliary PT, (b) a transistor synchronous rectifying circuit, (c) a squaring circuit composed of a transistor differential amplifier and a diode function generator with the square root characteristics, (d) an averaging circuit (RC low-pass filter), (e) a square-root extracting circuit utilizing a diode function generator and (f) a transistor differential amplifier.
This converter is able to accurately measure RMS-voltage and produces a linear output. The output DC-voltage of 0-5volts corresponds to the input AC-RMS-voltage of 70-140 or 90-120 volts. The performance of this converter may be rated as class 0.5 of an indicating AC voltmeter. ジャーナル フリーRecently, the artificial hand has been studied and developed for the various purposes. One of them is hand prosthesis. There are many important problems in hand prosthesis. In developing an artificial hand, points to be remarked are the mechanism, the driving method, the driving circuit and the way to make it small and light.
Imitating the shape and function of a human hand, we made a prototype model in order to clarify the problems of practical use.
First merit of this phototype is having the possibility of operation by two different commands. One command uses a command disk. By turning the disk, the artificial hand repeats the predeturmind sequence of operation. The other command uses the EMG from the human hand.
Second merit is in its function. The five fingers and the wrist move independently, so that it can perform complicated actions that are similar those performed by a human hand.
