Presented in this paper are some statistical properties of a system containing a nonlinear nonmemory stochastic device.
The nonlinear stochastic device is defined as a nonlinear device whose nonlinear characteristics are changed according to the value of certain stochastic process other than and independent of the input process.
The correlation functions, the power spectrums and the amplitude distribution functions of the output of the device are discussed. These statistical properties are also discussed with the output of a linear filter cascaded to the device. Some special cases are also discussed with the feedback system which contains the device and the filter.
