In the quality design system, some large-scale and complex engineering models have been often constructed in recent years, which represent the relationships among many design values and specified quality characteristics of the products. They have been utilized for the economic quality design and the improvement of the quality. Therefore, in this paper, we consider the problem of estimating such parameters of the large-scale and dynamic system that realize the given goal qualities, especially dynamic ones, by utilizing their engineering models. In order to minimize the desperation of the dynamic quality characteristics from their quality goal, a sequential parameter improvement method which makes it possible to improve a large number of parameter values simultaneusly with the system simulation is proposed on the basis of the multi-level systems theory developed in the abstract space. By this method, it becomes possible to get the satisfactory design values which realize the satisfaction level of the quality characteristics and to estimate the essential parameters for the quality characteristics.
