     Recent technologies on automation and autonomy have potential to realize new systems, such as automated cars and autonomous drones, and to change transportation in a drastic manner. Still, it has not been established how to assure the safety of such novel transportation systems. On the other hand, the value of using the new technologies may become vague if we too much focus on the safety.The authors and colleagues formed a research group in JSQC to discuss assurance of safety and quality of novel transportation infrastructure. This article reports the activities of our research group.In particular, by focusing on automated cars and drones, we report some results of our discussions on issues related to safety and excellent services from the viewpoint of human (consumer) delight and well-being.

     As an activity report of newly established research group in JSQC, this article demonstrates research and development workings conducted by authors to formulate new social infrastructures utilizing intelligent/autonomous technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI). Framework for the developments on two kinds of service robots are discussed in terms of co-creation. The aspect of co-creation to enhance customer values is reconsidered nowadays and required as a capability of service excellence. One scheme to perform competitive co-creation is exemplified by unique development of autonomous robots expected to become basic infrastructure of future convenience stores.Another scheme to perform collaborative co-creation is explained thorough original development of AI robots named adaptive AI-enabled robots designed to be total supporters for personal Well-being.Both development frameworks reveal importance of mutual understanding through co-creation and suggest how intelligent/autonomous technologies should be utilized to build up social basis.

     Remarkable growth of ICTs has altered our lifestyles to adapt to diverse styles.
     On the other hand, since ICTs have gradually linked people globally with various things and have blended them together, it has created a practical use of autonomy and automation technologies.
     As an activity report of the “Study Group on Quality Assurance for Social Transport Infrastructure,”this paper describes various demands of quality in relation to social infrastructures that utilize autonomy and automation technologies from a viewpoint of co-creation.
     Specifically, the following three items are delineated.
     1. The present situation and assignment of value creation utilizing ICT from a viewpoint of asymmetry of information
     2. Social capital that are important for forming and maintaining communities
     3. The function and role of autonomy and automation technology to create new social transport infrastructure.

     The quality of the product is created during the manufacturing moment. The relationship between production management and quality management considers the different viewpoints necessary for product manufacturing.
     This paper discusses the characteristics and relationships found between production management and quality management as management techniques. Today, there are many management effects of the new technologies such as IT(Information Technology), IoT(Internet of Things) Big data, and others over production management and quality management. In this paper, the fundamental theories of production management and quality management are considered as valuable contributions to the development of the manufacturing industry.

     自治体による健康づくり事業の有効性や効率性を維持,向上させるにはPDCAサイクルを回す必要があるが,具体的な方法は明らかでない.本稿では,事業の担当部署が,設定された事業目標の達成手段であるプロセスを着実に遂行するプロセス管理を実践できることをめざし,留意すべき重点業務を導く手法である「チェックポイントの導出手法」を提案することを目的とする.和歌山県の健康づくり啓発イベント事業への適用を通してその有用性を考察する.
     提案手法は,製品製造におけるQC 工程表や医療業務におけるプロセス管理標準の設計方法を応用して構築し,(1)目標の展開,(2)プロセスの展開,(3)目標とプロセスの関係の把握,(4)チェックポイントの導出から構成される.事例適用の結果,重要度の高い目標に対してチェックポイントを導出でき,それらが,既存の資料をカバーできていることや,情報を集約することで引継書として使用できる可能性があることが分かった.また,当該事業の管理者および担当者へのヒアリング結果より,チェックポイントが,事業目標を達成するための重点業務に関する情報を集約できていることが示された.
