The writer found three marine terraces-Shudoin Plane, Mohezi Plane and Mitsuishi Plane and the approximate heights of these terraces are 100m, 70m and 40m respectively.
The ancient strand line, the terrace deposits and the bottom heights of the terrace deposits vary their figures as shown in Table 1, 2 and 3. Gravels in terrace deposits are rounded out to a great extent. When the median figures of gravels in the terrace deposits do not amount to large figures, gravels are sorted poorly, Tectonic movement of the latest geological period influences the marine terraces. The writer found many kinds of diatoms in the terrace deposits of Mohezi Plane and of Mitsuishi Plane.
