Of the Japanese girls of ages ranging from 4 to 17, stature, span, upperlimb length, lowerlimb length, acromion height, waist height, foot length, and total head height, and their proportions with stature were measured and calculated, and statistics were taken of each age group. The results obtained by examining the growth sequnece are summalized below.
    1) Stature, span, upperlimb lenhth and lowerlimb length, and waist height increase till 14 years old showing significant difference between each age, and acromion height till 11 years samely, but after these years the growth rate becomes little. The time when the stature increases most speedily is 10-11 years of age. The total head height increases slowly through the years of age from 4 to 17. (Tables 3. 1, 3. 2, Fig. 1)
    2) Foot length, lowerlimb length, stature, total head height and upperlimb length reach their adult values at 12, and 17 years of age respectively. (Fig.2)
    3) Values of indices of span, upperlimb length lowerlimb length, waist height, to stature gradually increase with ages, and reach their greatest values at 11 years of ages, and after that diminish a little till adult. Indices of foot length and total head height, to stature diminish with age. (Tables 4.1, 4.2)
    4) The characteristics of body proportions of the materials of 4, 7, 10, 13, and 16 years compared with those of adult are shown in Fig. 3.
