The immature stages of Loepa katinka sakaei Inoue are described for the first time. The substitute food-plants are Ampelopsis brevipedunculata and Parthenocissus tricuspidata (Vitaceae).
A peculiar new himantopterid moth from Borneo is described under the name of Himantopterus nobuyukii sp. n. It is the fifth species in the family from Asian tropics except Africa.
The genus Noezephyrus Shibatani & Ito was discovered from Nepal for the first time. This westernmost population of the genus represents a new and distinct subspecies of N. suroia (Tytler).
Two new tortricid pests of conifers are described from China : Epinotia tianshanensis Liu & Nasu, sp. nov. and Zeiraphera gansuensis Liu & Nasu, sp. nov. Adults, genitalia and immature stages are figured. Some bionomic notes are also given.
The variation in the male genitalia of Amraica recursaria (Walker) is discussed. A. asahinai (Inoue) is sunk as a junior synonym of recursaria. A. jaculatrix and A. inouei are described as new to science, from Sulawesi and Thailand respectively.
Ourapteryx persica Menetries is redescribed, three new species related to it are described : O. falciformis from Caucasus and North Iran, O. ussurica from Southeast Siberia and North Korea and O. japonica from Japan. All the moths and genitalia are illustrated.
