20. Kiriakoff (1968) erroneously designated that Ceira horishana Matsumura is synonymous with Ceira virgata Wileman, but horishana Matsumura is only the male of Pydna magma Matsumura (the latter is not a member of the genus Periergos, though Kiriakoff (1968) placed it in that genus). Ceira virgata Wileman supersedes Pydna formosicola Strand and should be placed in the genus Achepidna Matsumura. Bireta formosicola Starnd sensu Kiriakoff (1962) is probably a synonym of Ceira? sordida Roepke from Java. Togarishachia argentopicta Matsumura, which was described from the only one female, is congeneric with Poncetia albistriga kanshireiensis Wileman. Therefore, the genus Poncetia Kiriakoff should be sunken as a synonym of Togarishachia Matsumura. In the light of the above-mentioned results, rearrangement of Formosan Ceira-group gives 10 species. Besides them, a new species Torigea formosana Nakamura is added, and two already described species., Mimopydna sikkima Moore and Besaia (Curuzza) frugalis Leech, are recorded from Formosa for the first time. Curuzza Kiriakoff seems to be a subgenus of Besaia Walker. 21. According to my investigation, the Formosan Fentonia contains four species, namely, baibarana Matsumura, crenulata Matsumura, parabolica Matsumura and macroparabolica new species. Of these species, baibarana was misidentified by me as crenulata in the previous paper of this series (Nakamura, 1965), and parabolica is a good species, though Kiriakoff (1968) considered that the species is a synonym of ocypete Bremer. A detailed account is given of the differentiation among ocvpete, baibarana and crenulata. 22. A Formosan species of the genus Damata has been recorded under the name of longipennis f. formosicola Matsumura (1931) and recently been treated by Kiriakoff (1968) as a subspecies of longipennis. However, based on the result of a detailed comparison between Formosan and Indian representatives, it is evident that formosicola is a distinct species. Damata formosicola Matsumura is redescribed in detail. 23. Disparia wilemani Matsumura is neither a synonym nor a subspecies of variegata Wileman (= sordida ab. formosana Wileman), and is congeneric with nigrofasciata Wileman; the latter species is not identical with seriatopunctata Matsumura, as treated by Kiriakoff (1968). The Japanese variegata japonensis Tams is more slightly related to nigrofasciata than to variegata variegata, but an aestival form of variegata japonensis, which abnormally appears in the summer in Japan, is closely allied to variegata variegata. A new species Pseudofentonia (Disparia) medioalbida Nakamura, which seems to resemble "Calyptronotum" singapura Gaede in the wing pattern but is closely related to Pseudofentonia (Disparia) nigrofasciata 'Wileman in the male genitalia, is described.
