    1. Most of landlords' (Shôya) and merchants' gardens were made in the latter term of Edo period.
    2. A few of antique gardens are distributed in the northern part of Okayama prefecture and the other, especially landlord and marchants' gardens of Edo period, are distributed in the southern part.
    3. These tendencies were caused the following reasons; some of farmers developed new regions of the southern part of Okayama prefecture, and they had been having a financial power as a new landlord class, comparing with an old powerless landlord class, and made most of gardens.
    4. In the Mimasaka district, the northern part of Okayama prefecture, only an old landlord class exist and they had no financial power as big as making gardens.

H, helix “Mandas Crested” was used as an experi mental material for the purpose that we tried to cease delay on the primary and proceeding growth which supposed on using Hedera genus for landscape planting by chemical control of vegitable holmon, gibberelline in this study.
We observed the effect which gibberelline gives on growth of Hedera genua after having sprinkled gibberelline solution in each concentration 25, 50, 100, 200, 400 and 800 ppm.
The result is that even if there are still some problems with respect to dealing quantity, dealing times. dealing period and others, gibberelline 25 or 50 ppm is seemed to be effective in promoting proceeding growth and ceasing delay on the earlystage of growth of Hedera genus.
Because, in case of sprinkling gibberelline 25 or 50 ppm, growth multiplicatin with balance nearly twice of other cases was fonud on the stage of 4 months after its dealing.
Some effect was found or minus effect, that is barrier by gibberelline, was provided in case of over 100 ppm gibberelline.

The garden of Hellbrunn, at Salzburg, is best among those in the German cultural sphere which were immediately affected by Italy. Markus Sittich, who was reigning Salzburg in the years 1613-19, made this castle and garden for use in summer. And this castle and the italianate parts of the garden are intact. Its mian part was changed into the French garden. In 1790 a landscape architect Danreiter made the garden of English style.
This garden in very famous for its water-plays.
There are also many grottos and automata. Then we easily recognize this as a baroqus style.
In the forest of Hellbrunn, Sittich made a deer park, a casino, chapels and hermits' cells, and a stone theatre, This theatre is known for the first attempt of Palladio's effort that revived in Renaissance.
