In this paper we examined the relationship between air temperature distribution and the ratio of open space coverage in Nagano city.
We examined several methods of research techniques and got 3 type regression equations.
1st type regression equation
Y: Air temperature. X: Ratio of green coverage.
2nd type regression equation.
Y: Air temperature. X: Ratio of open spaces coverage.
3rd type regression equation.
Y: Air temperature. X1: Ratio of tree coverage. X2: Ratio of grassland. X3: Ratio of paddy field. X4: Ratio of bare ground. X5: Ratio of water surface.
We checked the precision of each regression equations, normality of each variables and any other kinds of check points, and found that the 2nd type regression equation was the most proper one for our investigation.
The fixed regression equations of 2nd type are as follows.
1. Y=-0.026 (±0.002) X+C (±0.515°C)
Y: Air temperature of 14 o'clock (°C)
X: Ratio of open space coverage (%)
C: Constant (°C)
2. Y=-0.013 (±0.002) X+C (±0.331°C)
Y: Air temperature of 22 o'clock (°C)
X: Ration of open space coverage (%)
C: Constant (°C)
3. Y=-0.011 (±0.001) X+C (±0.282°C)
Y: Air temperature of 4 o'clock (°C)
X: Ration of open space coverage (%)
C: Constant (°C)
