JOURNAL FREE ACCESSNach dem Vorschlag VORHERRs “Verschönerung Deutschlands” grundete man Verschönerungsvereine in verschiedenen Gegenden, um die Stadt and ihre Umgebung (Natur) zu verschönern. Urn die Mitte des 19. Pubs. blieb zwar kaum etwas von dem Schwung and den grofen Ansätzen der “Landesverschönerung” wirksam, aber in “Verschönerungsvereinen” lebte die letzten Auswirkungen dahin. Der Verschönerungsverein war jedoch ein “privater Verein”, dessen Organisation nicht so fest auf der Seite der Finanzen and Personalien war, darum konnte er kaum perspektivischen Standpunkt and langfristige Aussicht der Ausfuhrung der Verschönerung haben. Manchmal benötigte der Verein die finanzielle and personelle Unterstützung von der Verwaltung der Gemeinde. Inzwischen übernahm die Gemeinde nachher die Aufgabe der Verschonerung vom Verein, da er nicht so kräftig war, daß die Tätigkeit der Verschönerung allein auf der Initiative des Vereins nicht mehr geleitet wurde. Jedenfalls ist es jedoch bedeutungsvoll im folgenden Sinne: Die Bewegung Vereins brachte ein Moment mit sich, da ß man die Abteilung für öffentliche Grünanlagen and städtische Freiräume innerhalb der Behörde gründete and zugleich der Öffentlichkeit durch die Vereinsbewegung mehr od. weniger kritisches Bewußtsein oder Ethos gegen die Umwelt des Wohnbereichs prägte.View full abstractDownload PDF (7708K) -

JOURNAL FREE ACCESSTo conserve natural landscape areas, it is important to assess environmental impacts of the construction plan of a big structure on those areas in the early stage. And to assess them easily in the early stage, it is necessary to grasp space features of the constuction point easily.
So the aim of this study is making the simple method to grasp space features on natural landscape areas from the recreational point of view by using the ready-made data base, for example Natural Digital Land Information.
To find adequate indexes to indicate space features, an image test was carried out on 21 case-study points. On the other side index values of same points were culcurated by using the rady-made dada-base. Culcurating values were compared with the result of the image test, and the most conformable indexes to the result were selected as elements of the method.
As the result of this study, “the relative height” as the index of steepness, “the number of landscape resources” as the index of diversity, and “the quantity of roads” as the index of natural condition were selected.View full abstractDownload PDF (4646K) -
