There is a procedure to warm up a newborn baby by a hot warter bottle or an electric foot warmer in a cot, in order to protect their temperature loss.
The present work was under taken to improve the temperature control in the cot, in which a naked newborn infant could be settled, using the hot water bottle or the electric foot warmer as a warmer and both thermography and thermister to measure temperature.
When the hot water bottle (70℃, 1000ml) was used, it might be desirable to prepare for warming up 15 min. before setting the newborn baby.
If the warming time passed for 60 min. warming effect would drop down.
With the electric foot-warmer, instead of the hot waterbottle, it might be desirable to prepare for warming up 40 minutes before.
In all cases, it is necessary to set the warmer not beyond 10cm-distance from the point.
