In recent years, the use of natural ventilation is increasing due to the promotion of energy saving. However, in the design stage, performance simulation is often not performed because of the labor and cost involved in simulation. Therefore, in this report, for the purpose of constructing a simple method for predicting the wind pressure coefficient, the wind pressure coefficient distribution on the building wall is predicted by deep learning and the prediction accuracy is examined.
In the previous paper, CFD analysis for a single room with two openings, using Domain Decomposition Technique (DDT) by LES model. This paper applies the same technique to a nLDK apartment building under two conditions of various conditions, to investigate the accuracy of DDT for a little more complex model.
In this study, Perforated Metal Duct Ceiling, the ceiling-mounted rectangular ducts are proposed forinstalling natural ventilatiom system in high-rise buildings. Its bottom surface is made of perforated metal, so fresh outdoor air passes through the ducts and the air gradually supplied to the room below at low velocity. In this paper, the authors developed the air flow network model to predict supply air flow rate distribution. These results were compared with CFD for validation.
In this research, we developed and evaluated air volume measuring instrument that has high accuracy and can easily measure ventilation in the field. The ventilation volume of an existing building was measured and the ventilation volume measurement result of an office building was reported. As a result, it was almost the same as the designed ventilation. In this report, we measured the ventilation volume of air-conditioned public toilets. As a result, it was below the designed air volume.
Dynamic hygrothermal simulations occurred between multiple zones in a building which taken into account inter zonal airflow networks are numerically analyzed by using the windows application WUFI® Plus with the airflow function. Influences of buoyancy. wind directions and velocities, and mechanical fans with the energy or heat recovery function as well are all investigated in the computations successfully.
The computational object is a one story high performing house with traditional timber framed modular panels that will be constructed in Yokoshiba. Under the switching operation of the ERV and bypass, the CO2 concentration in the leeward room is kept low due to the exhaust ventilation volume of the EA fan. However the hygrothermal condition is out of the comfortable range since the zone is conditioned by the exhaust air from the windward room.
Using the total heat exchange ventilation system, we compared whether the driving sound that can be controlled quickly affects sleep. We also investigated the effects of various pattern controls on sleep. Controlling driving sounds at the onset of sleep has shown good results for improving sleep quality without causing sleep deprivation.
