The current paper, as the second part of a study that aimed to contribute toward further development of universal design (UD) fonts, focused on the results of readability testing. By analyzing the correlation among the participants' groups, we found that young, experienced, and senior participants judged readability by the same criteria for bold type as they used for headings with a larger size. Only the rounded-Gothic typefaces' outcomes revealed a correlation between the results and visual attributes. The readability ratings for body text fonts showed a remarkable difference between the senior and young-experienced participants. However, the visual attributes that influenced the evaluation differed depending on the font category. Comparison of the results of the aesthetic evaluation and those of readability evaluation suggest that these evaluations were judged on the same criteria. However, the visual attributes that affected each evaluation were different for every font.

The objective of this study is to clarify the urban structures of creative industries in Portland and Seattle, America. It looks at the cause of creative class accumulation from macro, meso, microscale.
By the bibliographic survey and interview survey, it was clarified that proportion of creative class is high, Japanese companies and coworking spaces are accumulated, and large companies support as macroscale characteristics.
By the bibliographic survey and field survey, it was clarified that "Direction Space" which directs public space and architecture continuously and renovated office space for small enterprises as mesoscale characteristics.
By the field survey, it was clarified that space characteristics of direction space were classified to 2 types: "Utilized Type" and "Adjoined Type" for public space as microscale characteristics.
Consequently, urban structures of creative class was clarified through characteristics of Portland and Seattle.

"Tonton-narabe" is a board game type tool on old tales remained in Hachioji-city, Tokyo for Integrated Studies on middle and upper grades of elementary education. The game play becomes auxiliary teaching material about the old tale. The original game production using an attached kit mainly becomes a teaching material for Integrated Studies for upper grades. This report considered the effectiveness about smooth use, stimulation of learning will, and quality group work based on the verification in a public school in 2017 business year. In the 3rd grade (3 classes), I carried out the game play of 1 period (45 minutes) as an addition of a unit about the local learning. In the fifth grade (3 classes), 24 original games in total were completed through a unit (8 periods, 360 minutes in total) of the local learning assuming the tool use. As a result of each subsequent questionary survey, it becomes clear that the tool contributed to the formation of the high satisfaction and expectation degree of the children for the class. In conclusion, I was able to confirm three effectiveness mentioned above.

In this research, we examined whether or not reduction of the body loads of caregiver using our "wearable auxiliary tool for behavior assistance" is effective. The experiment was carried out under three conditions: (1) not using tool, (2) using assistance belt, (3) using wearable auxiliary tool. The movements in the above conditions were carried out by holding the subject sitting in the chair, standing upright, turning 90° and transferring to another chair. We conducted EMG and motion analysis during transfer assistance. As a result, it was found by EMG that the activity of the back muscle was significantly small with wearable auxiliary tool. It was also found by motion analysis that the forward bending angle of the upper body during action is significantly smaller when using wearable auxiliary tool. These results clarify that the physiological loads which concentrated on the lumbar area was alleviated by using wearable auxiliary tool.

This paper focuses on Design Thinking (DT) of Silicon Valley Models and investigates how Japanese large companies have used DT in order to propose a model for Japanese large companies which have not adopted DT to hire design thinking. The author conducted literature reviews, and then prior researches are divided into 3 categories, concept, tool / method / framework, and case study. Based on these results, the author defined three parameters to design semi-structural interviews; intelligibility, installation level, evolvability. As a result of text analysis of 10 interview data using M-GTA, the author discovered 5 key concepts. This paper contributes to propose a new model refereed when design thinking will be adopted by Japanese large companies.

In this research, the design strategy has been attempted to review against poor customer attractiveness, in conferences of non-profit organizations. In this process, noticing insights would be effective in considering the design strategy, because it would give us a new perspective of improvement, that we could not notice before. This demonstration is the aim of this research. Although the promotion has been developed from STP4P at event planning, the number of advance applicants was zero, three weeks before the event was held. In response, consumer behavior was reviewed, and depth interview was carried out to the target person. From there, negative insight was found, which could not be noticed when planning an event. Then, the SIPS model and STP4P were redesigned, to revise the concept and design representation of the event. After that, through the monitoring of participants number, it was examined the factor of improvement.
