JOURNAL FREE ACCESSThis study aims to find a flammability of general textiles and flame-proof textiles.
1) Safety of flame-proof finished natural clothes is more safety than flame-proof finished union clothes were blended with synthetic fibers.
2) The density of flame-proof finishing bath need not be deeps as standard density in case of union clothes were blended with synthetic fibers and natural fibers.
3) Flammability of some union clothes was different between flame angle or flame course.
4) Safety of flame-proof polyester is noticeably different from phenol fabric on account of flame behaviour.
5) Safety of wears should be made synthetically on safety against flame touch, combustibles stick and heat transfer.View full abstractDownload PDF (986K) -

JOURNAL FREE ACCESSThe purposes of this paper are to select the materials for insecticide spraying clothes through the material test and to design and make the clothes.
On selecting, designing and making, we mainly concider as follows;
a) low cost
b) good for preventing human body from insecticide
c) good for practical and comfortable use
d) strength of the material
e) water proof of the material
As a result, polyolefin non-woven material “TYVEK 1443R” coated with polyetylene is selected. Two insecticide spraying clothes are designed and made using the material, that each has different size and consists of an upper and lower garment and a hood.
