In the elementary school science class, "How things warm up", there is a possibility to break the stereotype of learners and lead them to a more essential understanding of how water heats up by observing the phenomenon in various ways. For this reason, in this study, we developed a teaching tool that combines the features of the existing tools into one, and allows the learner to choose from three different positions for the heating/cooling, thermo-ink, and thermographic observations, as well as for the heating/cooling part. The teaching tool has a total of 12 observation patterns. By looking at the thermographic images in detail, we were able to observe the movement of water circulating in layers of different densities.
