I examied the serum protein of thb leprous patents with buret reaction and colorimetry, the results were as following:
    1. With tubercle leprosy albumin decreases and globulin increases, compared with the sound serum. With nerve and macula lepra no change was found.
    2. Albumin/globulin was more than 1.0 with nerve and macula leprosy, and less than 1.0 with tubercle leprosy.
    3. The volume of α. and β globulin was not different in every type, but α-globulin increased in tubercle leprosy.
    4. One factor which accelerated blood cells sedimentation in leprosy was globulin.
    5. The chief factor of positive of. Takada reaction in leprosy was the increase of γ globulin.

I employed the electric floculation method with the same serum as last experiments, comparing with the cases of the colorimetry, and examined serum protein of Erythema nodosum leprosum with colorimetry.
    1. The results of the floculation method corresponded pretty well with the results of colorimetry. Namely the big difference of serum Tracts between lepra nervosa et maculosa and lepra tuberosa was the increase of globulin on account of increasing of γ-globulin in lepra tuberosa.
    2. The ratio of albumin to globulin in Erythema nodosum leprosum was less than 1.0 on the average, and does not differ so much from the ordinary lepra tuberosa.
    3. There was no remarkable difference in the fracts of serum protein. The fracts of serum protein in the early stage of Erythema nodcsum leprosum does not differ from the fracts after its absorption.

The results of application of photodynamic substances on a portion of rat where we had inoculated murine leprosy bacilli were as following.
Eosin and Erythrosin accelerated a little the development of gramuloma, but hematoporphyrin, fluorescein and bergamot oil had no influence on it.

After the examinatons of the results of intravenous injection of Protomin, alone and with vitamin K to the growth of leproma, I perceived that the intravenous injection of. protomin controls the onset of rat leprosy, and its result was more effective when used with vitamin K.

The results of the statical observations with the 167 lepra patients who visited our clinic for last 21 years schowed that the break out of patients had the tendency to increase after the war, male patients were three times more than female, of ages most patients were about 20 years old, the chances of infection of 6.6% of them were clearly known, and that as for the types, macula form was more than any other form (41.9%), then follow nerve, mixed and tubercle form.
Macula is the most of the chief complains, then paresthesia and exanthema.

I found a singular phenomen, drawing an age curve of the 72 patients who visited our insti tution during the year of 1948.
The peak of the out-breaking curve deviated remarkably to the right side and the morbidity curve of tuberculoid macula schowed two peaks at 21-30 years and 51-60 years.
Seeing from these facts, I'll emphatize that the distribution curve of the present age demands us to think that it contains new out-breaking of older people, as well as the opinions that the right side deviation of the age curve signifies the decrease or termination of lepra patient at that district
