During the past four years the writer made vasectomy in 40 cases and obtained the following results.
1) Vesectomy was a very simple operation which caused neither danger nor troubles of patients.
2) After the operation no spermatozoon und no lepra bacillus was found in the semen.
3) After the operation the sexual desire was kept unchanged und the general condition was seen very good.
4) No pregnant women were seen by those vasectomized men.
5) Leprous changes were not only made worse by the operation, but there could be seen some cases in which leprous symptoms disappeared entirely.
6) In cases in which one testicle was excised no influences were noticed.
7) A case which suffered from phthisis became well after the operation.
8) Excised spermatic cord showed no marked change in exception of two severe cases of lepra tuberosa
