Es wurde der Einfiuss des Kupfers auf das Wachstum der Weizen durch Gefassversuch untersucht. Der Boden ist feinlehmiger mit pH 6. 7 und die Varietat der Weizen ist Saitama Nr. 27. Die Vegetationszeit dauert von 12. XII. 1939 bis 6. IV. 1940 Der vorliegende Versuch ergab die folgende Resultate : 1) Die Kupferzugabe (KZ.) varierte sich von 0.5 bis 1,000 v. M. (p. p. m.), und bei der grossten KZ. waren die Samen nicht mehr keimfahig. Bei 500 v. M. starben die Pflanzen gleich nach der Keimung. Bei 200 v. M. am 23. XII. waren etwa die Halfte der ganen Pflanzen lebendig, und zwar mit sehr armen Wachstum zustand. 2) Die Verbesserung der Pflanzenlange und der Bestockungszahlen wurde bei KZ. von bis 50 bzw. 20 v. M. beobachtet, aber kein Einfluss auf der Zahl des Aehreschiessens, trotz der Verspaterung vom Aehreschiessen durch 100 v. M. 3) Der Mehrertrag der gesamten Ernte wurde bis 20 v. M. beobachtet. 4) Der C-Gehalt der Pflanzenteilen ist folgendes : Wurzel--33.55-36.62 (in bei 110℃ getrockneten Substanzen); Korn--40. 70-43.53; Stroh-38. 25-42. 22 Blatt-39. 99-42.92. Ob der Einfluss von KZ. auf dem C-Gehalt schon nicht betrachtlich ist, zeigt die hohe KZ. die C-Vermehrung beim Korn und Stroh, und das Gegenteil bei der Wurzel. 5) Der N-Gehalt der Pflanzenteilen ist folgendes : Korn-1. 31-1. 82; Stroh--o.44-0.68; Blatt-0.96-1.33; Wurzel-0.82-1.39. Die KZ. hat beim Korn die N-Vermehrung herbeigebracht. Bei den anderen Teilen verminderte sich der N-Gehalt bis 50 v. M. KZ. um von dort an wieder sich zu vermehren. 6) Der Cu-gehalt der Pflanzenteilen bei 50 v. M. KZ., wo die Giftwirkung des Kupfers erst zum Vorschein kommt, ist folgendes : Baltt-0.0248%; stroh-0.0039%; Wurzel-0.0029%. 7) Die K.Z. verschob die Bodenreaktion nach die Saureseite. About Antigen, 1. The method, by which some flesh meal of fish will be extracted with 5% Na Cl solution, is not so extractive upon the breaking action of the antigen, as by means of any other chemicals and makes better effects. 2. If the extracted solution, acts upon fish scrap, 30 minutes at 70℃ will be treated, is to attain the expected objects, though it cannot be avoid to cause somewhat decreasing of antigen action. 3. The antigenpreparation of cold-blooded animals can be more influenced than that of animals, bacteria by chemicals etc. About precipitation reaction, 1. Anti-serum for fish-scrap is hard to obtain, being taken very long time for it, but there is no use to take into consideration about any group reactions which may be accompanied by the anti-serum the reaction will be easy to prevent by adding a few glycerine or by inactivating. 2. Such a soluble protein, as it is extracted from some fish-scrap with 70℃ 30 minutes long and treated with alcohol, is to regard as the best one. About complement bindings reaction, 1. The reactions are almost equal to the preciptiation, but somewhat more accurate. 2. Such a reactinogen, as it is treated in the precipitation reaction with alcohol, is the best one. In the case of the above mentioned it must be avoided, to use a filter paper, because otherwise the principal constituents will be absorbed. About the identification of several fish-scrap, 1. The identification of several fish-scrap mixed in one kind of fish-scrap belongs to one of the most difficult works, but it is, ss far as the fish-scrap is mixed in some proportion with other ones, easy to detect the proportion of the mixture. 2. As the most of proteins of mackerel-cakes are decomposed as pepton and others, anti-bodies by that protein are hardly to get, but without the serum-reaction their mixture can be by the ninhydrine reaction easily found.
