The authors have studied on the principle and medical application of Xeroradiography. They presented in "Clinical Radiology" (1965) etc., the expantion of the diagnostic scope by using Xeroradiography, choosing the examined part of patients, which had been impossible to be obtained with X-ray film. Moreover, they studied on Xeroradiography, especially about the following problems. 1) How to use selenium sensitive plate that is used insted of X-ray film. 2) The fatigue and improvement of selenium sensitive plate. 3) The cleaning to use the selenium sensitive plate repeatedly. And they made experiments and studied about the following points. 1) A viewer, the method of observation before and after transference of xeroradiographing, by using selenium sensitive plate. The method is correspondent to micro-radiography, which is used for preserving photography. 2) The Smoke-method and Open-Chamber method : especially the characteristic and special quality of these developing of these methods.

The authors studied the time for angiocardiographing each cavity of circulating organ, picking up 20 cases of the normal out of ones to whom they carried out the angiocardiography. Next, they found an interrelation between the time for the angiographing and the time of blood circulation or pulsation, and examined whether the relation is useful for finding the time of angiocardiographing. The times for angiographing are different even among the normal, especially those of angiography of left heart are more. However, it is possible, through the interrelation between the time for angiographing and the time of blood circulation or pulsation, to find accurately the suitable time for angiographing given the time of circulation or pulsation. The time indicated with the unit of heart beat, which is almost established with out reference to the time of circulation, is useful for programming of chestroentgenography associated with pulsation of the heart. As for the time of the angiographing the right heart, almost no difference due to the time of circulation or pulsation was found.

In order to measure the amount of irradiated X-ray on workers engaging in radial works, the fluoro glass dosimeter was used and studied, compared with film badge and pocked chamber. The conclusions obtained from the study were as follows : 1) There is an approximate inclination between fluoro glass dosimeter and film badge 2) Fluoro glass dosimeter is possible to measure the amount of X-ray to the extent of 3mr. 3) Fluoro glass dosimeter is good for a long service. 4) The limit of measurement of fluoro glass dosimeter is wider than that of film badge. 5) Pocket chamber is suitable for the purpose to count the daily amount of the irradiated X-ray, while fluoro glass dosimeter and film badge are more suitable for counting the long-term accumulated amount of the irradiated X-ray than pocketchamber.

With the progress of transport facilities or that of industry, the number of trafic accidents or factory accidents has increased. Today, no less than several cases of head-trauma are btought to hospital a day. In the radiographing such cases, it is necessary to put a patient on the must suitable position as soon as possible, giving no pain to the patient. Therefore, the authors made for trial a simple x-ray apparatus in order to take x-ray photography of the patient on a stretcher. This apparatus was found to be able to be used for anterior roentgenography, profile roentgenography, Towne radiography and encephaloarteriography.
