    For the last two or three years, in same of university hospitals, under the discussion what the central department of radiology ought to be under the pressure of fundamental reformation of medical departments. While, as to medical examination and treatment of radiology, the specialization between medical side and technical side is strengthened for progress and development of medical science and medical treatment. In these circumstances, I will attach great importance to the following point of view and arguing "the subject of radiological technique", I want to come near to the condition of the central department of radiology. 1. The contradiction in connection with medical science and medical treatment. 2. The essence and the structure of technique. 3. The structure of radiological technique. 4. The structure and the actual state of the department of radiology. 5. The present condition of the central department of radiology. 6. The ideal and the aim of the central department of radiology.

    The present status of the Central Department of Radiology was analysed. From the result, it is concidered that the technical level and economical conditions in this Department are well maintained. However, a tendency of human alientation among the employee were observed. To eliminate this, appliciation of more modern management theories such as Mcgregor's "Y-Theory" or Herzberg's "Motivater Theory", and participation of radiological technicians in management are necessitated. To face with hospital automation, level up their ability and their job-enlargement are also necessitated. With no insight into the medical treatment, no further progress in this medical field will not be attained.

    With the modernization of the hospital centralization in various departments of the hospital has become brisk movement of the attached hospital of university where the modernization has comparatively been slow we think this tendency is especially large. We think that the primary cause is with the recent expansion of radiological affairs, i. e., the increase of cases, variety of the contents and their intension and the elongation of time for medical examination, etc.. These factors play important role (1) on the economical (fund) problem, (2) on the problems of tools monitoring and (3) on the problems of radiation institution etc. so close up for our consideration. We suppose that our main aim is to lessen futile investment on the equipments and on the personal and make the most of these so as to increase the number of case, diversification, intensification. It is supposed that the chief aim to raise the level of efficiency, to the increase of the case, multification, to raise higher efficiency, these will be our main aim. In the case of centralization the merits and demerits of patients are as follows. The point of advantage : (1) Qualitative rise the apparatus (The introduction of brand new apparatus) (2) The problem of the elevation of technique will be able to expect. (3) The standardization of data (4) Double cheque of data (5) Pratical use of the knowledge of experts Defects : (1) The elongation of working distance of patients (2) The elongation of the time waiting (3) Making diagnosis gross and rough (4) The problem of promotion better understanding between departments Considering the above mention facts, excepting the case where human, material investment can bedone broadly, the merit centralized seems great, but even if the centralization can be done its set up and management are awkward and clumsy, the above mentioned characteristics could not be available, but induce completely within, so through attention will be required. Thus centralization of various function of radioactivities is mainly from economic standpoint, so we think over patients if so doing we think over that there would be room for argument wether centralization is good. Now we wish to put the problem aside for a while and standing on the point the centralization is a trend (1) better service to the patients would be possible. (not standing our standpoint only) it would have to be the one considered from the standpoint of patients. (2) Realization has to be possible with the fair standpoint that is realizable. These two points have to be taken care of. Here, the problem of "What center radiological department should be"mentioned.

    Today, we have many important problems in the field of high energy radiotherapy. One of these problems is to controll the flatness of X-ray dose in the treatment field. The usually used instrument for measurement of the beam-flatness was complicated and took much toil to operate. We overcome these difficulties by constructing a new type of equipment for measuring of beam flatness, which is light, compact and easily handled. Here, we show the construction of this equipment, its advantages and the results of our experiments using this apparatus.

    X ray discovered by W. C. Rontgen now display the real ability using the Medical science with Physical science. Inquiry of the principle is being done in the field of the Physical science, and the Study of worth practical in the Medical science. According to the Literature at home and abroad, The Snapshotting by the Portable Self-rectifying X-ray Apparatus which developped marvelously with the progress of Electronics seems impossible. But, The experiment adding some ideas to the Apparatus makes the chest snapshotting possible which results have been unexpected by usual apparatus, and also makes the photographing of Cerebral blood vessel clearly. We understand the efficacy on the film as some phenomenon, and call it The Kawahara, Hanamoto, Kajiyama Phenomenon.
