    Modern society is suffering from abundant knowledge and information, and we face difficulties to utilize this to make our life better in practice. "Wisdom Computing" is our initiative to make our intelligent world richer and lead us to better decisions under our complicate and ever changing situations. In this article, firstly, we review the progress and challenges of the modern Information Technology as a background of our proposal. We then instantiate an implementation framework of the Wisdom Computing to enlighten the research and development area required to realize the creative collaboration between humans and machines. Finally we introduce our activity necessary for the technology to gain social acceptance from the world.

    The Japan Patent Office and the National Center for Industrial Property Information and Training (INPIT) renovated the Industrial Property Digital Library (IPDL) and have provided the Japan Platform for Patent Information (J-PlatPat), which is a new service to provide patent information since March 23, 2015. Here I would like to introduce the concept and the main services/functions of the J-PlatPat, which offers user-friendly services through simple operations and enhanced search-service functions.

    For solving problems inside enterprise or research groups, it is essential to utilize specific knowledge in the field of the problems. Thus, finding expert persons who have pertinent knowledge is a key for solving the problems. If group is small, it is easy to find out appropriate experts by hand. Otherwise, under the situation number of experts is greater than several hundreds, it is difficult. In this study, using "JST Scientific and Technological Thesaurus" and hierarchical tagging, we developed an expert finding system. We attempted to totally improve the retrieval precision using "JST Scientific and Technological Thesaurus". And, applying hierarchical tagging, we aimed to enhance the retrieval precision in the case that one expert versed in several fields.

    Comprehensive open system of all reports of past projects which were supported by RISTEX was constituted. Everyone can visually access plural reports in research areas. This system will also be useful in discussions for newer area design by coupling other types of analysis over research areas. Bird's-eye view of own past assets could help knowledge inheritance of funding agencies and lead their newer views.
