The authors studied the histo-pathological changes of the liver and the endocrine organs by the subcutaneously injection of the d-Arginin solution.
    Experimental Methods:
The rats were used in this experiments, weighing about 80-100g., and each animal was injected 1% d-Arginin solution 0.5cc per. 100g body weight daily for 7, 15, 30 days and 90 days.
Purpose of histological examination, each specimens was fixed in 10% Formalin solution and stained with the Haematoxylin-Eosin stain and the Van-Gieson's stain.
    Results:
    1. Body weight of rats increased by the proper dose of d-Arginin, but after the 2 months of this experiments showed the fixed averaged weight.
    2. Liver: Liver cells thowed the cloudy swelling and marked passive hyperaemia in stroma. The hypertrophy of the nucleolus of the liver cell appeared from the last stage of this experiments.
    3. Adrenal gland: In the medulla showed markable haemorrhagic picture and the cortical epithelial cell were atrophied.
These findings were obtained in the 30 days groups remarkably.
    4. In the liver and spleen, the eosinophle infiltrated remarkably.
    5. Parenchyma of the other organs showed slight degenerative changes followed by the passive hyperaemia only.
From the above mentioned findings we conclude that eosinophile infiltration in many organs and haemorrhagic changes of the adrenal gland by the d-Arginin administration were the marked points in the protein metabolism.
