For decision of the buffing factor of oil damper necessary for the vibration absorbing systems, the author assumed that oil goes in and out through the center of the orifice of the damping piston, and the result of calculation was optimum value, Then, the theoretical equation of natural vibration and forced vibration of the system in that spring constant of rubber used together with the damper is changeable freely, was required and the author calculated for the case that the revolution of the experimental engine is 1200rpm and vibration shaking force is 264kg. In the result it came clear that those theoretically considered equations are satisfied. Finally, extending the region of this vibration system, the author analytically calculated the relaxation type with deflection of the based frame and applied the “Perturbation Method.” If the phase difference of buffing vibration is very little and engine speed is high, the forced vibration amplitude of this system was decided like these: (1) The engine amplitude has the same value as the natural oscillation which is decided by the Laplace Transformation. (2) The based frame amplitude has the same value as the natural oscillation deflection which was calculated based on the statically indeterminate framed Structures.
This report concerns and describes on the results of the preliminary experiments which have been carried out to research on lasting effects of the subsoil plowing. As the subsoil plowing enables to break up hard pan just below the regular plowing depth, hardness of the soil—topsoil and subsoil—becomes soft, and the specific resistance of plowing may be decreased by 14-25% on the tested field, compared with before treating.
In previous paper Tawara, measuring the critical void ratio of the aggregate of volcanic light soil, found that volcanic light soil has sandy property; and explained one of the mechanism of the stickness of volcanic light soils with the result of that experiment. In this paper we measured the critical void ratio of alluvial clayey loam in Konosu as same as previous paper, and found that the alluvial clayey loam also has critical void ratio, of which value is 1.24 when the lateral pressure is 0.3kg/cm2 These behaviour of alluvial clayey loam is more similar to sand than volcanic light soil. This is perhaps why the latter aggregate is easy to be destroyed when it is compressed initially.
The author tried for potato disease control a low-pressure, low-gallonage field sprayer in combination with the ordinary Bordeau wettable powder mixture, Dithane, and Calcium arsenate. The analysis of the result suggests the use of this type of the sprayer with tractors, both for a better disease control and for the increase of annual use of the tractor. Also shows economical advantages of this type of the sprayer.
1) The flow of fertilizers in the downward-delivery hopper has two kinds of elementaty type, which generally appears compounded each other either simultaneously or exchangeablly. 2) The phases of flow are essentially under the control of the mutual relation between the conditions of hoppers and the shearing characteristics of fertilizers, the positive of which is increase of void-ratios and the negative is cohesion. 3) The results of this experiment show some practical methods to improve the flow of fertilizers in the hopper, for example, the adoption of such delivery mechanisms as give shearing effects to fertilizers in wider ranges above the bottom, the ammendment of the design of agitators, and unsymmetrization of the shape of the hopper.
In this paper, author investigated the grinding action, the impact action and the motion of rice grain in the rice pearling mill with grinding system. 1. The equation to indicate the rice pearling resistance was introduced. (Eq. (1)-(8)) 2. The ratio of the heat capacity conducted to the rice grain and the grind stone was calculated. 3. Using the Hertzs impact theory, on the assumption that the rice grain is a elastic ellipsoid, author calculated the impact velocity to fit for the rice pearling. But, this value is very small, so it is doubtful whether rice gran is a elastic body in the dynamic case. 4. As two dimensional motion, the flow of rice grain in the vertical rice pearling mill with grinding system was calculated. (Eq. 14, 15.) 5. Author made a vertical rice pearling mill grinding system for experiment. On some factor to influence upon the rice pearling resistance, experiment was done with this mill.
