    It is a significant method to inject some substance into joint for the purpose effort in articular diseases. Many fluid, contrast agents and medicines have been already used for this purpose; in order to prevent adhesion of joint or ankylosis of after arthoroplasty. Recently the application of silicon compound has been planed. Iino M. D repoted PVA membrane which was less stimulative and absorptive biologically. And also Dr. Akiyama M. D created PVA membrane and DMPS membrane with high purity which were recognized to be useful experimentally and clinically. When one uses these reported absorptive materials as a injecting substance, loose joint will be occured after arthroplasty, on the other hand none absorptive one will be needed trouble some reoperation to take off. Now, I tried following experimental study that I put PVA DMPS Emulsion into the joint of rabbit for some period and observed how to effect for the protection of adhesion of joint in comparison with DMPS membrane, so that I got remacable result in this study. In order to put this Emulsion into joint it is needless to carry out any operative procedure but only simple technique of injection is required. Another profitable features of this emulsion are that it can be applied in any shape of organ and in the event of having performed its purpose it is easilly taken off by small incision and decreasion degree is low and this show a little stimulation to tissue in eary time after injection but its phenomnon dose not last long time. As a result of this experimental study I supose that injection of PVA DMPS Emulsion into joint is useful for prevention of contracture or ankylosis of joint. Besides, as absorptive degree can be controled freely, if sutably controled PVA DMPS Emulsion is used, we can make period of joint fixation or after care shoot in many orthopaedic procedure.
