In preceding communications on this subject the author confirmed that both the amounts of blood nonprotein nitrogen and urinaly nitrogen of tuberculous rabbits are found always increased. This facts led one to the suggestion that these increments of nitrogen would be due to that of nonprotein nitrogen in any tissue by increased decomposition of tissue-protein and many experiments were carried out to verify this suggestion.
I. The nonprotein nitrogen contents in per one gram tissues of heart, lung, liver, kidney and spleen of healthy rabbits are found in average 1.642, 0.988, 1.606, 1.924 and 3.996 mg. respectively.
II. In the case of tuberculous rabbits the nonprotein nitrogen contents per one gram tissues of spleen, kidney, liver and heart are found lower values while in lung higher values than that of control animal.
III. The contents of uricacid in per one gram tissue of heart, lung, liver, kidney and spleen of healthy rabbits are found in average 0.240, 0.186, 0.151, 0.151 and 0.137 mg. respectively.
IV. In the case of tuberculous rabbits the contents of uricacid in per one gram tissue of heart spleen and kidney are found in higher level while in lung and liver in lower level than that of control animal.
