JOURNAL FREE ACCESSAs one of the serological tests for tuberculosis the agglutination test has been studien by many investigators for a long time past. Nevertheless it remains to this day as a hard problem owing to the difficulty of obtaining an efficient antigen for the purpose. Lately, however, I have succeeded in obtaining the homogeneous culture of tubercle bacilli by cultivating them in a special alkali-yolk-protein medium prepared by me.
