THere are two methods in case where FM-modulated MUSE signal from satellite is transmitted through CATV. One is FM Transmission and the other is VSB-AM Transmission. In this paper required characteristics on CATV channel in case of FM Transmission are described on the basis of the resuits of some subjective assesment tests.
The 1kW UHF Amplifier is made up by new type MOSFETs, which can amplifier a 10mW into a maximum of 1kW. It is very high performance, efficiency and reliability.
A high performance, RF power MOS FET has been developed for broadcast equipment which can deliver over 100W of output power with 50% drain effeciency and 10 dB gain at 770 MHz. This high performance was achieved by employing high voltage structure which parameters was optimized by computer simulation multi-layer refractory metal gate, and direct grounded structure packageing technology.
The accurate measurement method for backscattering waves by corner reflector indoor is shown by using an antenna and the network analyzer (N.A). The measured data by the N.A are transformed into ones in the time-domein and the sating is performed. The resultant data agree well with the coaputed results obtained by the method of uniform geometrical theory of diffraction (UTD).
A cylindrical linear antenna with a finite mesh reflector, immersed in a warm isotropic plasma, is studied as a boundary value problem in the frequency range where electron plasma waves exist. The measured radiation patterns of the antenna show the unidirectional pattern for electron plasma waves.
Identification Tag (ID Tag) system is a key device for car production control. This system requires the high data transmission rate and high transmission quality between an interrogator and a tag under unfavorable electromagnetic environments like in a production plant. we developed a new microwave(2.45GHz) band Radio Frequency Identification (RF-ID) Tag system which can both read tag and write data to tag at an effective data transmission rate of 2.4kbytes/sec, and a transmission capacity of 2kbytes. This system has attained the bit error rate under 10^<-6> in a car production plant.
