Digital transmission protocol have been considered in the studio signal delivering system in NHK. Then broadcasting program sources have been required high quality conditions to send from the studio to the transmitting station. our developed digital STL(studio to transmitting station link)system adopts the SBC(sub-band cording)method in the audio signal processing which was suppressed the transmission rate at one 4th,and QPSK modulation was used in the RF(radio frequency)section. This new digital audio and two digital code transmission channel in the STL has 4 channel same as RF band-width of as usual analog STL. This paper discuss the estimation of the digital audio STL performances.

This year, The widespread field strength data of the 5 MW broadcasting stations have large service aria the Kanto district was measured. We made the conductivity map from the data based on an analysis The map is like the other map measured conductivity directly in spite of the few strength data. The thesis explains the analysis method, showed the map and demonstrate effect of it. And we explain the Field Strength Chart displayed many effects at the analysis by the report.

Artificial dielectrics have been constructed with indices of refraction as high as 10.95 by at a freqency of VHF, UHF Region by imbedding microscopics Carbn-Fiber in lossless dielectrics. When good conductors such as carbon fiber (ρ=10^<-2> S/m) are used, the resulting permittivity is observed to be complex. This phenomenon is in agreement with the theoretical results of Collin. It is indicated that a high loss, high refractive index artrficial dielectric can be constructed by using carbon fiber conductors if the fibers are very large and possess high electric polarizability.

A new ferrite core applicator system has been developed to achieve innduction direct-deep heating. It is difficult to heat deep inside the human body because eddy current distributtion is inherently distributed near the surface of the material to be heated. Therefore two auxiliary electrode are introduced to controle eddy current. Concerning these electrodes, taking the conductivity or thickness of them as the parameter, the relations between conductivity and thickness have been investigated. Based upon these results, heating test have been conducted. As it result, it has been clarified that new ferrite core applicator system is competent for induction direct-deep hyperthermia.

The theoretical value of site attenuation, an evaluation value judging whether an EMI test is adapted to a standard, has been calculated treating antennas above finite perfect conductor plane. This paper calculate the theoretical site attenuation value in case of antennas above dry earth ground plane, using the Sommerfeld formulation. This paper calculate it for vertical and horizontal polarization and compare it with the value in case of infinite perfect conductor plane and in free space.

In the ESD tests of the electronic devices, we have focused on the spectrum distributions of the electromagnetic fields which are generated with discharges of the ESD simulators. This paper reports the difference of spectrum distributions and test results of typical electronic devices when several simulators are employed. The ESD simulators employed are IEC 801-2 specified type, vane type and old specifications type. From this investigation, we have found that IEC 801-2 type's spectrum distribution reached up to 20 GHz and the test results with it tended to more strict compared with other two types. On the other hand, old type simulator's spectrum distribution remained below 2 GHz.

There is a situation for high speed pulse transmission on a balance cable. We present in this paper a calculation method to crosstalk quality arising in high frequency area;that is, examine the calculation method and the result for matching and no matching's indirect crosstalk by way of the third line on all kinds of coupling model of balance cable. Being due to this new calculation method, indirect crosstalk quality' calculation which usual looking for is difficulty concretely. can be calculated easily.

High frequency crosstalk performance of balance cable are examined, for the purpose of the high speed pulse transmissoion system of more than 10MHZ,such as LAN. The sampling theory are applied to the crosstalk-coupling model, correspond to high frequency band of transmission pulse. A calculation methode are proposed for obtaining crosstalk characteristics on frequency domain and also time domain.

In this paper, we calculated many kinds of design charts using experimental formula for permittivity of epoxy-modify uretane rubber mixed carbon particles. We manufactured microwave absorber using these design charts and we discussed its application for the wave absorver by experiment.

In this paper, the measurement method of reflecting characteristics from the objects by range-doppler imaging in the room is discussed. For 30 × 30cm plate, the measurable range of about -40〜-45dB in X band is obtained. Measured RCS of metal plate is good agreement with those of calculations. This measurement method is expected to be applied to measure the reflecting characteristics of various objects and wave absorbers
