Microfocus X-ray source is indipensable for X-ray non-destructive inspection system here. We introduce Microfocus X-ray source manufactured by HAMAMATSU PHOTONICS K.K. We also explain necessity of Microfocus source and the application in industrial field.
A micro-focus X-ray CT (MPX-CT) has been studied, which uses a combination of a micro-forcus X-ray generator and a PCD line imaging sensor as the profile detector of the projection data of CT. The MX-CT has been developed for the detection of very small defects in fine ceramics, which cause fracture of the materials. Some examples of the detection by the MFX-CT is presented and discussed.
In this paper, we describe the industrial applications of ULTRA-VIOLET imaging using UV-image intensifier and UV-TVcamera in which UV-chalnicon tube is instolled. Also, We introduce the characteristics of new UV-image intensifier tube with better solar-blindness compaired with conventional tube.
An infrared-bi-color image sensor was developed with a barrier height controlled Schottky-barrier photo diode array for precise temperature images. Low and high barrier height diode pixels are arranged vertically next to one another using a selective area ion implantation technique. The infrared-bi-color image sensor can obtain the temperature image precisely without the emissivity assumption.
