Marker chromosomes of the Usubuchi sarcoma cells are investigated paying special attention to their G-banding patterns and the7. A Preliminary Note on the Marker Chromosomes of the Usubuchi Sarcoma Cells ir combination in a given cell. This sarcoma is a hypertriploid tumor with a wide variation in the chromosome number.
Seven chromosomes having remarkable morphology are noted as markers characteristic of this ascites tumor. They show their own particular but constant patterns of G-bands, quite different from the regular patterns of the normal elements. A variety of marker combinations are observed even in the cells with the same chromosome number.
