This is our 2nd report of the production analysis of p.c-construction. The study theory and the detailed method of the production analysis were reported in our former report. The classification of production method in p.c-plant, and man-hours on production of the p.c-component in standard pubric housing system, are featured in this report. Production analysis is to make clear the productivity of some construction systems with scientitic approach. We applied the method used in I.E. (industrial engineering) to construction systems. We conclude from this analysis that the productivity of P.C. l-component depends on its form. And some multiple regression models which combine the form and the productivity are induced in this report.

The purposes of this report are (A) to induce a technological criterion of the aseismic capacity of reinforced concrete rigid frames and (B) to give a theoretical background to the three papers which were already reported on the aseismic safety of medium or low rise reinforced concrete structures with shear walls arranged symmetrically and asymmetrically and without shear walls. The technological criterion of aseismic capacity is derived from the combination of one mass oscillator subjected to sinusoidal groud acceleration and the fatigue characteristics of reinforced concrete aseismic elements. Finally, the aseismic capacity of low rise reinforced concrete is illustrated in the space with three-Cartesiar coordinates, i.e. shear force level, natural period and equivalent coefficiet. Then the aseismic characteristics of "rigid structures" with predominant short columns and shear walls which show shear fracture mode and of "flexible structures" with predominant long columns which show flexural fracture mode are made clear in this figure (Fig.21).

These papers attempt the method of appraising a planning, that is modelling the men's movement and simulating one at planning stage. They take as an example the surgical department loaded with complex movement of goods and men, and research by next program. 1) According to the investigation, the movement of goods is distributed to "flow", "stay", "stock" and "change of condition" etc., and the movemet of men to actions about "informations", "goods" and "men" etc.. 2) The arrangement of good is investigated at five general hospitals in Nagoya City. 3) The movement of men is investigated at two general hospitals. 4) Under 3), movement of circulating nurses during surgical operating, is modeled. 5) This model is applied. to five hospitals on 2), and their plans are appraised. 6) This model is applied to one hospital in West Germany in stead of a project, Under this, it may be given as a conclusion that the central-clean suppy hall is successful, enclosed by operating theaters which have an entranee and exit in outside corridor. And these papers refer to the surgical department types of European and American one.

This study has objects which picks out the contradication lying in the rural life environment, and finaly which definites the method of rural planning taking a side view of the life environment planning. This report (no.1) refers to the expansive process of the investigation of the planning method, by presenting the total image of this study. The formation of this paper is : (1) the defference between the planning studys in the past and the method study on the regional planning which has been required comprehensiveness. (2) the way of investigation of the method study. (3) the definition of rural planning (position in the land development, teritory, subject, contents, objects and means of planning). (4) the way of dcefinition of the framework. (5) how to develop the planning program (6) how to understand the life environment and how it is to be settled in the theme of rural planning.

The residential environment in slums has to be improved by urban redevelopment project in many cases. The better improvement, them, could be attained by the resident's-movement for community development. In order to promate such movement, this study was intended to cortribute for the program formulation in community development by obtaining the information on people's various desires for improving their lives, finding the particularly strong desires out of them and trying to connect such desires with those for improving residential environment. Consequently, major desires in the area concerned were found to be those which are near residents themselves and easy to realized such as the nursings and education for children and those for improving residential environment, connecting the two desires is likely to be reasonable in the program formulation for community development.
