From July 26, 1972 to October 10, 1972, at the Yao Health-Recovery and Promoting Center in Osaka, 17 victims (9 males and 8 females) who had been poisoned by Morinaga dry milk in which "arsenic compounds and others" were contained were treated by a health-recovery and promoting method made by adopting fasting, unpolished rice, cold-and-warm bath taken one minute alternately and a special kind of physical exercise etc. The results are as follows:— 1) Four out of 17 patients had unusal skinpigmentation. But after treatment two of them showed remarkable and one, rather good disappearance of pigment. One had no effect. 2) Ten of the 17 patients who had eye-sight disturbance were improved in all the members to some degree. 3) Four of the 17 patients who had bad hearing were improved to some extent. 4) A light abnormality in encephalo-electr oraphy was noticed from one of the patients. But after treatment it was almost improved to normal extent. 5) All of the 17 patients had unbalanced autonomic nerve, but 16 of them became better in the symptom of consciousness. 6) Eleven out of the 13 patients had stomach and intestines disturbance. But after the treatment they were improved in the symptoms to a certain extent. 7) Two of the 17 patients had some disturbance of liver function, but they recovered from it. 8) Proteinuria were noticed from five of the 17 patients. But 4 of the five disappeared albumen from the urine and one decreased in some extent. 9) Two patients had pain in the knee-joint. But after the treatment the pain disappeared completely. 10) One female had an allergic dermatitis. But the symptom disappeared completely too. 11) The sedimentation rate of erythrocytes lowered after the fasting with 7 out of 9 males and 7 out of 8 females. 12) Five out of 9 males and 3 out of 8 females increased their grasping power after fasting. Only 4 (2 males and 2 females) decreased. 13) X-ray heart shadow reduced with 9 out of 17 patients after fasting. We had a talk with 15 out of 17 victims on November 18, 1972 after they left the center. We found the unhealthy symtoms that they had had before they were health center completely disappeared or decreased in 13 of the 15 victims. Thus we confirmed the effectiveness of the above health-recovery and promoting method.

The author has observed the suicide rate and homicide rate of the past 60 years (1900-'60) not only in Japan but also in many foreign countries from the standpoint of epidemiological statistics and has synthetically studies the relationship of specific qualities of its biological (sex, age), geographical (distribution) and time (yearly trend, seasonal variation) phenomena, with life-environment (chemicophysical, biological, social), and an epidemiological study clears it out that soil aggregation may be found both in suicide rate and in homicide rate. The outstanding features are as follows. 1) The geographical distribution of suicide rate has keen connection with the chemical constituents of river water. Where pH-value is in neutral or alkalic and Ca/K ratio is also large, and Na+K/Ca+Mg ratio is high, suicide rate is high. 2) The geographical distribution of homicide rate has keen connection with the chemical constituents of river water. Where pH-value is slightly acidic, and Ca/K ratio is also small, and Na+K/Ca+Mg ratio is high, homicide rate is high. 3) Therefore, geographical distribution of suicide rate and homiside rate is in reverse order fundamentally. 4) In short, how electrelytic balance with K and Ca as their central figure may be suposed greately to have relation with postnatal disposition that apt to go to suicide or formation of postnatal disposition that apt to go to homicide.
