The purpose of this study is to examine how women's consciousness and behaviors vary with their clothing according to their age, life environment and occupation. The Lickert method was used, as the method of survey, on the basis of the three check items; the standard for selection of the clothings, the sense for wear of the clothing and the behavior for the purchase of the clothings. The survey was conducted on three different populations; girl students, their mothers and general working women.
As a result, the standards for selection of the clothings were identified by some of the image to women's selection of the clothings according to the place of life. The factors of the sense for wear of the clothings were represented by five factors.
It was found that the relationships between behavior for the purchase of the clothings and the sense for wear of the clothings varied with women's age, life environment and occupation.
