The objective of this study is to report the brief summary on the nuclear medicine status, which was presented by the 13 delegates of the National Project Coordinators(NPC) of the Asian countries in the International Atomic Energy Agency(IAEA). The initial cooperative meeting(RAS6061/9001/01) was held on March 19th to 23rd in 2012 in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The brief reports presented in the meeting were assembled here with the delegates' approval. South Korea is a leading country in the number of PET/CT, with 148 PET/CT and the rate of one PET/CT for 0.32million population, and is followed by Singapore and Malaysia in order. South Korea has a spread rate of PET/CT 475 times as many as Bangladesh. Regional heterogeneity of instrumentation, radiopharmaceuticals, and human resources was observed in the presentations. We are convinced this summary report will contribute to the future plan of IAEA/RCA training programs worldwide.

Underground cosmic-ray muon count rates always change with time due to variations in various kinds of meteorological factors and solar activity. The main factors are atmospheric pressure, force field potential and temperature in the upper atmosphere. The pressure and force field potential effect coefficients are evaluated as a function of depth under the ground through theoretical calculations based on a continuous slowing down approximation for energy-angle double differential spectra. The temperature effect coefficient is derived from ground-observed data analyses in relation to the temperature in the upper atmosphere.

Applications of Mössbauer spectrometry, which reveals a detail in stepwise spin transition in binuclear, trinuclear, and tetranuclear complex, are introduced to the study of spin-crossover phenomena. The appearance of spin-crossover phenomenon by enclathrating guest molecule in the assembled complex is introduced. A variety of assembled structures are obtained by changing conformer of bridging ligand. The reversible structural change of host framework triggered by desorption and adsorption of guest benzene molecules was also introduced.
